We sat down with Happy Jack Hat Co. owner, Sally Mundy and asked her a few questions about her business.
Q: Where are you located?
A: Happy Jack Hat Co. is located at 701 S. Gregory in Gregory Place in Urbana.
Q: When did you open?
A: We opened on January 12, 2018. The day of the 8 inches of snow!
Q: What is your JSM VIP deal?

Q: What makes your business stand out in Campustown?
A: Well, we’re the only hat shop in Campustown! But I think more broadly, it is kind of a new concept with this kind of a hat shop. It’s basically fashion caps, ball caps, beanies, and other winter wear. I’m not really aware of any other hat shops like it. We focus on smaller brands that make limited runs that don’t focus on sports teams, but are really popular especially with younger people in cities right now.
Q: What is your favorite part about owning Happy Jack Hat Company?
A: My favorite part is that I just love hats. So, it’s a perfect fit for me! Owning a business is really cool too. I love being able to make all the decisions and just sort of, do what I want.
